Mr. Appliance Joins Forces with GenerationsUnite

In-home care providers, caregivers and families of seniors now have direct access to Mr. Appliance through GenerationsUnite’s unique communications tool.

GenerationsUnite, a web-based tool that provides families, care provider companies and caregivers an easy-to-use communications platform to create a community of care around an individual needing in-home care, announced Tuesday that it has joined with Mr. Appliance.

Mr. Appliance is one of the largest full service appliance repair companies in the world.

“We admire GenerationsUnite’s commitment to high-quality customer care because it’s in line with our own world-class service commitment,” explains Deborah McKenney, Marketing Manager at Mr. Appliance Corp. “Mr. Appliance is now connected directly with customers’ care providers and families through the GenerationsUnite site. This will give our senior customers and their families an easier way to access our expert appliance repair services, allowing us to better serve their needs.”

At the GenerationsUnite site, family members, care provider companies and caregivers will be directed to a Mr. Appliance in their area, allowing even long-distance family members the ability to choose Mr. Appliance service providers.

“Our goal is to build strong care giving relationships,” says Alan Loveder, GenerationsUnite’s Vice President for Business Development. “Over 41% of adult children of aging parents live at least two hours from the parent who is in need of care. When a loved one is in need of in-home care and you live out of state, how do you determine who trusted individuals are to provide that care? GenerationsUnite partners with trusted businesses like Mr. Appliance to give you the confidence you need to choose who will provide that all-important support and services for the ones you love.”

Anyone can join the GenerationsUnite community. The GenerationsUnite site also provides job search resources to in-home care agencies, as well as search features for families and caregivers looking for trusted businesses and care providers to serve their loved ones and clients.
