GENERATIONSUNITE SITE PRIVACY POLICY
GenerationsUnite is offered by Cornerstone Solutions Group ("Cornerstone").
Cornerstone is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains
our information gathering and dissemination practices. If you have questions or
concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact Cornerstone at the e-mail
address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED. In order to better provide you with numerous
products and services the GenerationsUnite Site (the "Site") collects two types
of information about its visitors: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally
Identifiable Information. Our primary goal in collecting information from you is
to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience while using the
Site.
Personally Identifiable Information. This refers to information that lets
us know the specifics of who you are. Personal information is requested when you
register and set up an account, order a product or service, fill out surveys, and
send us feedback. For example, this information might include your name, billing
address, shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card or other
payment information, and product details. With this information, Cornerstone can
fill your orders and better provide you with personalized services. For a few services,
we may collect your personal information on behalf of other merchants and share
it with them. If you visit one of the stores available through a link on our site,
they will independently collect, use and share your personal information in accordance
with their own privacy policies. If you have questions about their information practices,
please read their privacy policies. In many cases, you can find a link to their
privacy policies on the page offering the Partners' services.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information. This refers to information that
does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information
about you based upon where you go on the Site in several ways. This information
is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. For example,
this information may include the Web site's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that
you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your
Internet Protocol ("IP") address. A URL is the global address of documents and other
resources on the World Wide Web. An IP address is an identifier for a computer or
device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol ("TCP/IP") network,
such as the World Wide Web. Networks like the Web use the TCP/IP protocol to route
information based on the IP address of the destination. In other words, an IP address
is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing
the web, allowing web servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require
IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Internet, browse and shop.
Demographic Information. Demographic data also may be collected at the Site
from third party advertising servers, content servers, or web site analysis agents
who provide us with the zip code and area code associated with a visitor's server,
along with pages viewed on our site.
Cookies. Cookies are small bits of information that some Sites (including
this Site) transfer to an individual's hard drive for research purposes. Cornerstone
uses cookies to analyze the traffic, such as total visitors and pages viewed on
the Site, and make improvements based on the data we collect. Cornerstone never
saves passwords or credit card information in cookies. The use of cookies has become
a standard in the industry, especially at websites. Most browsers are initially
set up to accept cookies. You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or
indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you refuse cookies, you may not be able
to use some of the functionality of the Site. The Site’s advertisers and other partners
may also use cookies in connection with the services and Sites to which the Site
links. We do not control these cookies.
WHO IS COLLECTING THIS INFORMATION. Cornerstone collects the information
described above via the Site. In the case of third party features such as advertising,
co-branded areas or links to other Sites, such third parties may also collect information.
You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third parties before
providing personally identifiable information. Cornerstone is not responsible for
any actions or policies of such third parties.
USE AND DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION.
IP Addresses. Cornerstone collects IP addresses and related information
for the purposes of system administration, to assess the traffic to the Site and
to maintain and improve the Site. We do not link IP addresses to your personally
identifiable information. We can and will use IP addresses, however, to identify
a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Site Terms and
Conditions or to protect our services, the Site, customers or others.
Traffic. We review the actions of the GenerationsUnite Site visitors on an
aggregate basis to determine customers' preferences. Cornerstone may also do research
on our visitors' demographics, interests, and pages viewed based on the information
provided to us during ordering, a promotion, from our server log files, from our
web site analysis agents, or surveys. We will use this data to tailor the visitor's
experience at the Site, to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically
analyze site use, to improve our product offerings, and to customize the Site's
content, layout, and services. We may receive reports from third party ad servers,
content servers, or web site analysis agents that tells us how many ads were presented
and clicked upon or what content was served or viewed.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information. On an aggregated basis, Cornerstone
collects anonymous data related to the pages, products, downloads and other content
that is sampled, clicked on, streamed, searched for, transferred from and downloaded.
Except as otherwise limited in this Policy, we may disclose, sell, trade, or rent
Non-Personally Identifiable Information to others without your consent.
General. Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide
GenerationsUnite visitors with a superior customized online experience. We use the
customer contact information to fill orders, contact purchasers to inform them of
their order status, to send promotional information, to enhance the operation of
the Site and administer our systems.
Cornerstone may, from time to time, share limited customer information with companies
it hires to provide operational, marketing or advertising support, companies that
help us distribute our products and services, or companies that provide products
and services Cornerstone wants to offer. The companies Cornerstone chooses must
satisfy our security and privacy requirements. Cornerstone shares your information
with these companies only if they agree to treat it confidentially and only if it
is legally permissible to do so. Cornerstone limits the information it provides
these companies to what it reasonably believe they "need to know" in connection
with their agreement with Cornerstone, and Cornerstone do not permit them to use
our customer information for any purposes outside our oversight or control.

with third parties who provide services to us, our customers and web site visitors.
Those third parties include authorized contractors, temporary employees and consultants
and other companies working with us (collectively, "agents"). Where we believe it
to be appropriate (in our sole discretion), we will ask our agents not to disclose
or use your personal information for purposes other than to provide services to
you or Cornerstone.
Promotions. Cornerstone may, from time to time, provide you with promotional
newsletter, e-mails and personalized on-line advertisements as a service to our
customers. You may "opt-out," or unsubscribe from our newsletters, emails or personalized
on-line advertisements by following any unsubscribe instructions in any e-mail,
newsletter or personalized on-line advertisement you receive from us, or by sending
an e-mail to
GenerationsUnite Support. After doing so, if you have opted out of receiving
all newsletters, all promotional emails or all personalized on-line ads, you will
not receive future promotional emails, newsletters or personalized on-line advertisements
(as applicable), unless you open a new account or otherwise subsequently sign up
to receive newsletters, emails or personalized on-line advertisements.
Please Note:
If you agree to receive e-mails from any of our third party service providers or
any third party merchants on our site, you will receive e-mails separately from
them, and information that you choose to disclose to them will be subject to their
privacy policy. If you later decide that you no longer want to receive their e-mails,
you will need to follow their own specific opt-out instructions, as opting out to
GenerationsUnite Support as described above will not opt you out of their
promotional emails.
Government Authorities and Litigation. Sometimes a law, court order, or other
judicial or administrative process requires us to provide information to a government
authority or party to a private lawsuit. Cornerstone will provide the information
that it in good faith believes is required to comply with the law, order, or other
process. Cornerstone may also have to disclose certain information in court documents
if is has to bring an action against you, for example, to collect a debt you owe
it.
WITH WHOM THE INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED. Except as described above, Cornerstone
will not knowingly disclose or authorize the disclosure of personal identifiable
information (other than aggregate statistical information) to any third party without
your consent unless (1) we have reason to believe that disclosing this information
is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may
have breached our Site Terms and Conditions or who may be causing injury to or interference
with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Cornerstone's rights or property,
other Site users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities or (2) we
believe in good faith that the law requires it.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 YEARS. In accordance with the Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Cornerstone will not knowingly collect or accept
personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 13 without a parent's
or guardian's prior consent.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES. While you are using the Site, you may be linked or
directed to other third party Sites outside the Site that are beyond Cornerstone’s
control. Each of these third parties may have a privacy policy different from that
of Cornerstone. Cornerstone is not responsible for any actions or policies of such
third parties. You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third
party Sites before providing personally identifiable information.
SECURITY PROCEDURES WE USE. We are very concerned with the security of your
personally identifiable information and take great care in providing secure transmission
of your information from your computer to our servers. Unfortunately, no data transmission
over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive
to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information
you transmit to us.
Once we receive your information, we take appropriate steps that we believe are
reasonable to protect the security of your data on our system, both internally and
from outsiders, and to ensure the integrity of the data we collect. We use a combination
of technological and policy methods to protect this data.
CHANGES IN THESE TERMS. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time
and will post notices on the Site at the time of any material changes to this Privacy
Policy. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to these
terms will mean you accept those changes.
