Job Bank Achieves Success
"Finding good caregivers with the right skills is crucial to obtaining and keeping
clients… often we (Horizon Support Services) find that we have exhausted our roster
of caregivers and must advertise for a specific case.
There are several very popular sites that in the past we have posted caregiver openings
on. These ad sites gave us poor results and many times brought us individuals that
did not match the skills we needed.
Now we are advertising on the GenerationsUnite Job Bank, getting immediate results
and success with the right caregiver.
Our loss of time answering telephone calls and reviewing applications for applicants
that do not match our need has decreased greatly due the our success with the GenerationsUnite
Job Bank.
Thank you GenerationsUnite!!!"

"Generations Unite has been so helpful in maintaining and improving client relationships.
The ability to enable all families particular those who live out of town to be a
part of daily care of their loved one helps bridge communication and brings the
family together. With so many families living out of town, through using GenerationsUnite
they can be an integral part of the daily care. With everyone using the notice boards
and the collaborative care plan everyone is kept informed and involved easily, a
great benefit to running a busy franchise.
Using the Service Partner Directory in GenerationsUnite the family or the care provider
can arrange for a multitude of resources including medical care, home improvements,
lawn services, financial services and so much more!
The ability to shop at the ecommerce site and to have medical supplies, sundries
and just about any needed items delivered right to a client's door is a wonderful
convenience for the client but also for the family and helps ensure that the clients
who may be homebound have all the necessary supplies.
As a care provider, we are excited to see all the new features to help us in searching
for and matching the very best caregivers with our clients. The extensive job bank
allows us to put in criteria to match our current staff with clients but also allows
us to have access to all job bank applicants with a much reduced cost.
We are able to communicate directly to our caregivers as well as our clients using
the notice boards to document everything in one convenient location. I am so excited
about all the current features as well as the new benefits to providers still to
come!"

"Nate,
Just wanted to drop you a note expressing the excitement that G.U. is creating!
We did an in-svc at a local hospital in front of case managers and social workers
and when the topic turned to G.U. and the various features, every one of them stopped
what they were doing and looked up to hear more! I really believe that G.U. differentiates
us from the competition in such a positive way and will contribute to running a
successful home care agency. Part of my dialog to every prospective client and referral
source now includes information regarding G.U. I'm looking forward to when all of
my employees and clients are on board and eventually third party individuals. This
creates such a collaborative care and communication system with our agency, our
caregivers, clients and their families ensuring everyone involved is on the same
page working for the same goals. Thanks again Nate for allowing Right At Home to
be a part of GenerationsUnite!"

"I opened my Home Helpers franchise in mid November. When doing my first home assessment,
I discussed GenerationsUnite with the potential client. They have family scattered
across the country as many of us do. While all the information I provided them with
was helpful, knowing that all the family, doctors, and social workers could view
and even participate in a care plan was the final determining factor in the family
choosing my company. I am very excited about GenerationsUnite as it is a true differentiator
from the competition as well as being a real help to the families we are trying
to serve."

"Comfort Keepers of St. Louis is excited about our partnership with Generations Unite
and the opportunity to offer our clients and their family members a way to connect
with our office staff and caregivers. Being able to communicate with everyone involved
in a clients care creates a true network of support for all of our clients as well
as allowing us to individualize our services to each client and provide the best
possible care.
We are looking forward to GenerationsUnite's new release that will include the Facebook
social networking site. Comfort Keepers of St Louis has been utilizing Facebook,
Twitter, Blogs and many of the other numerous sites to market our business as well
as include clients and family members in our circle of friends. The New York Times
reports about one-third of people ages 75 and older live alone, and increasingly
they are turning to online social networks like Facebook and MySpace for support
and companionship. One of the greatest challenges or losses that people face as
older adults, frankly, is not about their health, but it's actually about their
social networks deteriorating, because their friends get sick, their spouses and
friends pass away or their children live in different states.
Comfort Keepers of St Louis has been providing home care and other assistance programs
to seniors and their families since January of 2000. We are a part of a national
franchise with corporate offices located in Dayton, OH. We provide trained, insured
and bonded caregivers for a variety of elder care services."

My siblings and I signed up for Generations Unite when our mother had a knee replaced.
She was otherwise independent and not under anyone's care. After the knee surgery
though, she wanted to remain in her own home throughout the recovery period. As
a family, we took turns staying with her until she was able to be on her own again.
It was at that point when I joined Generations Unite and invited my sister and brother
to join, so we could coordinate our schedules along with her therapy schedules and
doctor visits. It's also a great way for us to share updates on her progress and
reports from the physical therapist. And the area that keeps track of her drug allergies
and dietary restrictions is a big plus -- it's easy to overlook those details if
you're not in the habit of taking care of someone. Though I know my mother will
soon return to her active and independent lifestyle, I plan to keep our Generations
Unite family account going. There are other features unrelated to health care that
we enjoy such as the recipe section and the calendar where we post family events.
